Ada “Tina” Marie Guarnieri

Ada “Tina” Marie Guarnieri, age 75, of Lemoyne, passed away peacefully at The Bridges at Bent Creek on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, after a battle with cancer.  Tina was born on Friday, April 20, 1945, in Morgantown, West Virginia, to the late Frank John Guarnieri, Sr. and Rosemarie (Rosi) Guarnieri.

Tina’s survivors include her two brothers: Frank John Guarnieri, Jr. of New Castle, Pennsylvania, and Michael Guarnieri of Rootstown, Ohio.

Tina graduated from Warmington Area High School as part of the class of 1963.  She retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation after almost 30 years of service working as a clerk.  Tina was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Camp Hill, and she loved to read from her Mass book.  She also enjoyed painting and liked to do housework.  Tina exhibited a great concern for others, and she will be remembered with a smile in the hearts of those who knew her.

All who knew and loved Tina are invited to gather for her viewing on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; and attend her Mass of Christian Burial starting at 10:30 a.m. at Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 East Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011, with the Very Reverend Philip G. Burger celebrating.  Tina planned a very special meal for those in her life which will begin at 12:00 noon at Buhrig’s Gathering Place, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, (717) 766-3421 (next to Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory).  Over 100 parking spaces are available; just look for the “Buhrig” parking signs in all of the parking lots.  Tina’s graveside service and burial in Resurrection Cemetery in Harrisburg will be at 2:00 p.m.

Tina sends her most heartfelt thanks to everyone who so lovingly cared for her over the years and during her recent illness.  She felt truly blessed to have so many special people in her life.  Although life was difficult for her at times the kindness that was shown to her lifted her soul and strengthened her spirit.
