Agnes “Aggie” L. (Bolha) Freeland

A Special Woman -

Agnes “Aggie” L. (Bolha) Freeland, 94, of Mechanicsburg , died peacefully at Messiah Village on Tuesday, August 6, 2013.  She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on Thursday, December 19, 1918, daughter of the late Lukac Bolha and Mary (Ondus) Bolha.  Aggie was the widow of Edward “Ned” Freeland who died in September of 2003.

Aggie’s survivors include her special friends, Esther and Gene Crawford of Mechanicsburg; her brother, Frank P. Bolha of Greensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Among those preceding Aggie in death are several brothers and sisters.

Aggie was a member of Shiremanstown United Methodist Church .  During her working years Aggie was employed at both the Naval Supply Depot in Mechanicsburg and Olmstead Air Force Base in Middletown.

Aggie’s committal service and burial will be private at Rolling Green Memorial Park with Pastor Debby Bentch officiating.

Aggie requested that memorial contributions be made to Messiah Village Endowment Fund , 100 Mount Allen Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  Aggie’s friends send their most heartfelt thanks to everyone at Messiah Village who so lovingly cared for Aggie these past several years.
