Alberta Lorraine (Wintz) Kennard

Alberta Lorraine (Wintz) Kennard, age 87, of Mechanicsburg , and formerly of Rochester , died on Sunday, May 31, 2015.  Alberta was born on Tuesday, October 18, 1927 in Converse, IN to the late Albert Wintz and Louis (Malott) Wintz.  Alberta was the widow of Kenneth “Ken” Clayton Kennard, whom she was married to for 60 years and who died in 2009.  In addition to her parents and husband, Alberta is preceded in death by her three sisters.

Alberta’s survivors include her children: Norm Kennard and his wife, Anne, of Harrisburg, Kathleen Hurst and her husband, Kenneth, of Shertz, TX, and Elaine Schoch and her husband Tim, of Mimes, FL; her six grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren; and her brother: Charles Wintz and his wife, Sandy, of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to join Alberta’s family at her service on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Messiah Village Chapel , 100 Mount Allen Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Pastor Ronald R. Slabaugh officiating.
