“Always There” -

Ana Delia Figueroa Rodriguez, 69, of Deltona, FL and formerly of Puerto Rico died unexpectedly and after a short stay in the hospital on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA. She was enjoying a visit with her family when she became ill. She was born on Sunday, November 30, 1941 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico the daughter of the late Francisco D. Delgado and Marcelina (Mercado) Centeno.

Delia was known and loved for her feisty nature. She was sentimental and good hearted being “always there” for those around her and especially for her family. She was born to be a caregiver keeping everyone’s best interest her priority. She loved gardening and cooking but her love for her children and grandchildren was without end. She will be missed.

Delia is survived by one son: Rafael Figueroa Jr of Bronx NY; two daughters: Margarita Figueroa Perez and her husband Carlos of Mechanicsburg PA, Maryann Figueroa Torres of Palm Coast FL; two brothers: Frankie Delgado of Uba CA, Carmelo Delgado of Bronx NY, Zoraida Delgado Mercado of Aguadilla Puerto Rico; five grandchildren: David, Johnny, Chastity, “Billy” Robert, Felicity; three great grandchildren: Melinda, David Jr, Damia and several nieces and nephews.

Delia’s family has chosen a private viewing and services to be held at their convenience. All are welcome to join Delia’s family at her Memorial Service which will be held in Florida and scheduled at a later date. Her cremated remains will be put to their final rest in Puerto Rico.
