Ann Louise (Schreck) Sheaffer, age 70, of Marysville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 11, 2020. Ann was born on Friday, March 24, 1950, in Harrisburg to the late Richard Schreck, Sr. and Dorothy (Reisch) Genn. In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Julia Paroda; her great-grandson, Tristen Andrew Funk; and her brother, Richard Schreck, Jr.
Ann’s survivors include her husband of 52 years, Bruce Alan Sheaffer; her daughter, Michelle Clayton of Mechanicsburg; her two step-daughters: Vonnie Trevenen and husband, Patrick, of Columbia, SC; Barbara Jane Beare and husband, Jeff, of Lebanon, PA; her nine grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren; her twin brother, Byron Schreck and wife, Melissa, of Camp Hill, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
Ann attended Camp Hill High School and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Enola. She retired from PSECU, after a few years of service working as a mortgage processor. Ann liked to crochet and spend time tending to her flower beds. She was also a very religious women that eternally remained dedicated to her faith. Ann very much enjoyed her friends and family; she was always interested in what was going on in their lives. The most important aspect of her life was all of her grandchildren and spending time with them.
All are welcome to join Ann’s family for her virtual gathering of family and friends and service via video chat or telephone on Friday, December 18, 2020, from 11:15 a.m. until time of virtual viewing at 11:30 a.m. and time of service at 11:45 a.m. with Reverend Michael J. Grab officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date and at the convenience of the family. Cremation was private.
