Loved Her Family -

Anna M. (Mattucci) Martin, age 79, of Carlisle, and formerly of Mechanicsburg and Berwick, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020.  Anna was born on Saturday, July 26, 1941, in Berwick, PA to the late Dominick Mattucci and Emma (Dolimpio) Mattucci.  Anna was the widow of Alan Robert Martin, whom she married on September 4, 1971, and who died on December 24, 1983.  In addition to her parents and husband, Anna is preceded in death by her two sisters, Betty J. Johnson and Rose Marie Harner.

Anna’s survivors include her son, Kimball Martin and wife Satoko, and her two grandchildren, Teruyuki and Yuna; all of Norman, Okalahoma.

Anna graduated from Berwick High School as part of the class of 1959.  She worked as a secretary in Pennsylvania state government for several years.  Anna had a strong Christian faith, and throughout her life, she attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and West Shore Evangelical Free Church.  Some of Anna’s favorite pastimes were dancing and enjoying different cuisines.  She loved to laugh and expressed her joy in living through her smile and cheery disposition.  Anna decorated her home with angels all year round, and she liked to decorate for every holiday.  Her family remembers Anna as kind, generous, and loving, and they will hold her dearly in their hearts.

Anna’s family will be remembering her life at a private graveside service and interment in Mechanicsburg Cemetery in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.  Cremation was private.
