Anne C. (Smetak) Strausser

Anne C. (Smetak) Strausser, 87, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Reading died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Claremont Home.
She was born in Irwin the daughter of the late Edward S. Smetak and MaryAnna Blahnik and she was the widow of Arlan E. Strausser, Jr., D.O.
She is survived by three daughters: Susan M. & David Seitzinger of Houston TX, MaryAnne Raker of Harrisburg; Ellen L. Emanuel of Mechanicsburg; one brother: Charles Smetak of Dalton GA; one sister: Marian Magill Banasik of San Jose CA; two grandchildren: Ellen M. & Mark Kirkland of Katy TX, Philip A. & Andrea Raker of Enola PA and four great grandchildren.
All are welcome to attend her viewing on Saturday from 9:30 until time of service at 10:30 at the
Myers – Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd.
, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA, 17055 with Pastor Brian D. Hennon officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Reading, PA.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the: American Heart Association or the Red Cross.
