Arthur Daniel Sodmont

Arthur “Art” Daniel Sodmont, age 80, of Carlisle, and formerly of Patton, died on Friday, October 20, 2023.  Art was born on Sunday, May 9, 1943, in Spangler to the late Louis Sodmont and Katherine (Lechene) Sodmont.  In addition to his parents, Art is preceded in death by his three brothers.

Art’s survivors include his four children: Matthew “Matt” James Sodmont and his wife, Julie, of Carlisle, Michael “Mike” Daniel Sodmont and his wife, Jennifer, of Petersburg, Mark Anthony Ciezobka of Medara, Brenda Marie Woods and her significant other, Jeff Pierce, of Hastings; his three sisters: Nancy Mulrany of St. Benedict, Kathy Thibideaux of St. Benedict, and Emily Yeager of Hastings; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Art’s family will be remembering his life privately.  Interment will be at the family’s convenience.  Cremation was private.
