Audrey graduated from Lemoyne (now Cedar Cliff) High School as part of the class of 1953. She attended both Bible Baptist Church in Shiremanstown and West Shore Evangelical Free Church in Mechanicsburg. Audrey was a proud, lifelong, full-time homemaker who devoted her life to caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She had quite a green thumb; anything Audrey planted would flourish in her care. She was an excellent cook and baker, and she enjoyed preparing meals for her family. Audrey adored the seashore, and for over 40 years, she found joy in camping at Myrtle Beach and Delaware beaches. Vacations and weekend family functions were the highlight of Audrey’s life. She never missed celebrating family birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions. Audrey delighted in the family gatherings every Sunday, when sometimes five generations would be at her home. Family was the most important part of Audrey’s life, and she was the glue that held her family close together and inspired the deep love they have for one another.
Audrey’s family will be celebrating her life privately. Burial in Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill, PA will be at the family’s convenience.
