Beloved Sister & Aunt -

Barbara Lee (Bowers) Mummert, age 76, of Wernersville, was reunited with her family in Heaven on Thursday, September 17, 2020.  Barbara was born on Sunday, December 19, 1943, in Gettysburg to the late Hershey March Bowers, Sr. and Betty Jane (Ecker) Bowers.  In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her three brothers: Donald Bowers, Jonathan Bowers, and Stephen Bowers; and her niece, Wanda Bowers.

Barbara’s survivors include her sisters: Nancy Potteiger of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Cindy Kramer and husband Brian of Pawleys Island, SC; her brother, Hershey M. Bowers, Jr. and wife Freda of Chambersburg, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Interment in Benders Lutheran Church Cemetery in Biglerville will be at the family’s convenience.  Cremation was private.
