Barb was born on Thursday, May 15, 1941 in Chambersburg to the late George Lorraine Shetler and Dora Elizabeth (Varner) Shetler. Barb was the widow of David Theodore Seibert, who died in 1985, and Gilbert Wimer, who died in 2003. In addition to her parents and two husbands, Barb is preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Seibert, and her grandson, Anthony Blessing.

Barb graduated from Chambersburg High School as part of the class of 1959. She was a long-time member of Laurel Grove United Methodist Church in Spring Grove. Barb loved to work and volunteer especially at the Helen Krause Animal Foundation in Dillsburg where she shared her love of animals since 2004. She enjoyed reading, shopping, camping, doing puzzles, and her visits to the casino. Many will remember Barb as being a bit ornery from time to time and as very funny with a wonderful sense of humor. She would often say, “I’m right, you’re wrong.” Barb will be remembered for this and much more and those remembering her will smile as they remember.
