A True Animal Lover -

Betty Jane (Bardall) McClintock, age 85, of Enola, passed away at Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Monday, March 5, 2018.  Betty was born on Thursday, June 30, 1932 in Mechanicsburg to the late William Bardall and Pearl (Walker) Bardall.  Betty was the widow of Marlin “Duff” George McClintock, whom she married on June 7, 1952, and who died on January 2, 1996.  In addition to her parents and husband, Betty is preceded in death by her two sisters: Dorothy Beitler and Alberta Ritter.

Betty’s survivors include her many loving nieces and nephews.

Betty graduated from Mechanicsburg High School and was a longtime member of the former Calvary Temple of Harrisburg.  She retired from Nationwide Insurance in Harrisburg, after many years of service working as a supervisor.  Betty then worked for and retired from Giant Food Store in Silver Spring Township where she worked as a bagger.  She loved to watch all different kinds of sports, especially the Philadelphia Phillies.  When Betty was not a catching a game on TV, she could be found doing a word search puzzle.  She was a true animal lover and leaves behind three cats, Wiggles, Red, and Lucy, who will miss her dearly.

All are welcome to join Betty’s family at her service on Monday, March 12, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Rolling Green Cemetery, 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011; with Rev. B. Tim Wagner officiating.
