Brock William Earhart, 38, of Mechanicsburg , and formerly of Richland , died peacefully at home on Friday, June 14, 2013. He was born in Reading, PA, on Friday, May 2, 1975 son of Kathy Margaret (Klinger) (Earhart) Briner, who survives him, and the late Dennis Lee Earhart, Sr.
Brock’s survivors include his loving mother, Kathy Briner and her husband Gifford of Mechanicsburg; his brother, Dennis Earhart, Jr. and his wife Lori Reist and their daughter Kera all of Lebanon; his sister, Audrey Bear and her husband Todd of New Bloomfield; his maternal grandmother, Ferne Klinger of Mechanicsburg; his paternal grandmother, Ruth Earhart of Lebanon; his step-grandmother, Joyce Briner of Mechanicsburg; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brock graduated from Eastern Lebanon County High School, Lebanon County Vocational-Technical School and graduated with honors from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix, AZ . He worked at Fry Communications in Mechanicsburg and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in New Kingstown. He enjoyed baking cakes and cookies and was mechanically inclined and able to fix almost anything. Brock was well liked with his laid back demeanor and warm hugs. His presence made people smile. Pleasant, outgoing and jovial, Brock was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
All are welcome to join Brock’s family at his gathering of family and friends on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 9:45 to 10:45 and at his funeral service which begins at 11:00 all at Trinity United Methodist Church , 4 West Main Street, New Kingstown, PA 17072, with Reverend Eric L. Funk officiating. Brock’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship from 12:00 to 1:30 at his church. Burial with a graveside service will follow at 3:00 in Schaefferstown Cemetery in Schaefferstown, PA.
