Always There for Others -

Carol Darlene Dull, age 69, of Camp Hill, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, July 5, 2018.  Carol was born on Friday, June 24, 1949 in Mechanicsburg to William Taylor Dull, Jr. and the late Leatrice Mae (Gross) Dull.

Carol’s survivors include her father, William “Bill” T. Taylor Dull, Jr.; her three siblings: Gary A. Dull, William “Steve” S. Dull and his wife, Tina, Stephanie “Steph” L. Halderman, all of Mechanicsburg; her seven nieces and nephews: Jeff Dull of Carlisle, Sharon Fahnestock and her husband, Tim, of Mt. Holly, Chrissy Dull of Carlisle, Rich Dilts of Mechanicsburg, Will Dull and his wife, Krystal, of Apopka, FL, Sean Reinhardt and his wife, Janelle, of Camp Hill, Cameron Halderman and his significant other, Tonia Owens, of Camp Hill; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Carol graduated from Cedar Cliff High School as part of the class of 1967 and from Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) in 1983 with an associate’s degree in arts.  She retired from PennDOT in Harrisburg, after 20 years of service working in registration renewals.  Carol was a member of AFSCME Local 2534.  She was loved to crochet and made everything from afghans to doilies.  Carol also enjoyed sketching, painting, collecting Breyer model horses, and caring for her beloved cats, Sky and Gracie.  She gave of herself tremendously; others described her as being very courageous, patient, and hardworking.  Carol was always there if someone needed a helping hand and she often times poured herself out for others.

Carol’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Cremation was private.
