Charles "Chuck" Arthur Miller

Charles “Chuck” Arthur Miller, age 85, of Mechanicsburg died on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Chuck was born on Thursday, February 16, 1939, in Stonycreek Township, PA to the late Russel Dewey Miller and Belinda B. (Meyers) Miller. Chuck was the widower of Sandra (Thomas) Miller, whom he married on November 27, 1959, and who died in 2009. In addition to his parents and wife, Chuck is preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Miller.

Chuck’s survivors include his four children: Lloyd A. Miller and wife Anita, Matthew T. Miller, Mary Ritter and husband Terry, and Amy Follmer and husband, Craig; his four grandchildren: Charles Miller, Aaron Miller, Shane Ritter, and Travis Ritter; his three great-grandchildren: Carter Miller, Cooper Miller, and Sydney Ritter; and several nieces and nephews.

Chuck will be dearly missed by all those fortunate to have been in his life.

All are welcome to join Chuck’s family at his viewing on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral & Cremation, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Reverend John Ward-Diorio officiating. Chuck’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Buhrig’s Gathering Place (next to the funeral home) immediately following the service. Burial will follow the reception in Mechanicsburg Cemetery where military honors will be presented by the Cumberland County Honor Guard.
