Charlotte Diana (Zeigler) Strauser

Charlotte Diana (Zeigler) Strauser, age 83, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Harrisburg, passed at home on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.  Charlotte was born on Friday, June 11, 1937, in Harrisburg to the late Ralph Dewey Zeigler and Dorothy Irene (Weaver) Zeigler.  Charlotte was the widow of Joseph “Joe” Henry Strauser, whom she married on August 23, 1997, and who died on January 17, 2017.  In addition to her parents and husband, Charlotte is preceded in death by her daughter, Johnell “Josie” Zimmerman; her son, Marvin Parson; her three brothers, Ralph, Zeigler, Gary Zeigler, Vance Zeigler; and her sister, Shirley Hand.

Charlotte’s survivors include her four children: Dali I. Parson of Middletown, Martin “Marty” A. Zeigler and fiancée, Melanie Alexander, of Mechanicsburg, Sted W. Parson of Lebanon, John Ciccicioppo of Marysville; her six grandchildren: Johnathan, Branden, Austin, Tamea, Brittany, Johnette; her four great-grandchildren; her seven siblings: Donald Zeigler of Selinsgrove, Clark Zeigler and wife, Joan, of Paxtang, Douglas Zeigler and wife, Jackie, of Newport, Terry Zeigler and wife, Barb, of Harrisburg, Leta Beane of Victoria, Texas, Marion Burger of Enola, Eileen Zook and husband, Norman, of Mechanicsburg; and  several nieces and nephews.

Charlotte’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Scattering will be done at the family’s convenience.  Cremation was private.
