Cindi Loretta Reese
Cindi Loretta Reese, age 61, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Cindi was born on Sunday, October 15, 1961, in Greensburg, to Anna Rae (McPhail) Reese and the late James Robert Reese.
Cindi’s survivors include her son, Trevor Vargas and his wife, Erika, of Harrisburg; her mother, Anna Reese of Greensburg; her four brothers: James “Jimmy” Reese and his wife, Tina, of Greensburg; Jeffrey “Jeff” Reese and his wife, LeAnn, of Latrobe; Jason Reese of Greensburg; Timothy “Tim” Reese of Greensburg; her sister, Carrie Reese of Greensburg; her best friend, Karra Hoover of Mechanicsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Cindi Reese was a mother, sister, niece, and an amazing friend to many. Her will to go above and beyond the call of duty when it came to the Navy mirrored the way that she presented herself in everyday life. Known as one of the best presenters of gifts and most thoughtful people to many, Cindi would light up a room with her energy and smile. She was always down for fun. She loved to be at the beach or pool, birthday parties, seeing family and friends or just watching her programs at home with her favorite Bud Light (ice cold bottle of course).
All will remember Cindi’s infectious smile and the energy, so big, you wouldn’t know how she fit it in her small physique. She was one of the tallest peaks among all the mountains in the world. Cindi will be missed, but her spirit will live on in the people that she has touched along her amazing journey. You will truly be missed and stories of you will be talked about for ages.
All are welcome to join Cindi’s family at her celebration of life open house and gathering of family and friends on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a time of remembrance at 12:30 p.m. at Buhrig’s Gathering Place, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, (717) 766-3421 (next to Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory); with Celebrant George A.
