Daniel “Dan” Patrick Walter, age 52, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017, due to complications of the heart and lungs. Dan was born on Monday, April 19, 1965 in Camp Hill to Edward Leroy Walter and Patricia Lou (Lutz) Walter. He is preceded in death by a brother, Lee Edward Walter.
Dan’s survivors include his mother, Patricia “Pat” Walter of Mechanicsburg; his father, Edward “Ed” Walter of Marietta; his sister-in-law, Melissa Walter and her two children: Atle and Reed of Mechanicsburg; his aunt, Joyce Mowrey and her husband, Jerry, of Burnham; and many other family members.
Dan attended the Cumberland Valley Schools in Mechanicsburg and was of Methodist faith. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit and good heart.
Dan’s family will be remembering his life privately. Cremation was private.
