David “Dave” Harry Pendell

David “Dave” Harry Pendell, age 63, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020.  Dave was born on Friday, February 2, 1957, in Harrisburg to the late Jack Pendell, Jr. and Helen Marie Pendell.  In addition to his parents, Dave is preceded in death by his feline pal, Cali.

Dave’s survivors include his wife of 13 years, Yolanda “Jolie” (Castaneda) Vandeneeden; his three stepchildren: John Vandeneeden and wife Sherrie of East Petersburg, Christopher “Chris” Vandeneeden and wife Regina of Lancaster, Nichole Vandeneeden and significant other Steve of Mechanicsburg; his two grandchildren: Sophia Grace Vandeneeden, Owen Michael Vandeneeden; his two brothers: Barry Pendell and significant other Esther James, Bruce Pendell and wife Jeanie; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved canine companion, Phoebe.

All are welcome to join Dave’s family at his committal service with military honors on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville; with Celebrant George Spangler Officiating.
