Debra “Debbie” Lynn Persik
Debra “Debbie” Lynn Persik, age 57, of Mount Holly, and formerly of Duncannon, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020. Debbie was born on Monday, October 15, 1962 in Hempstead, NY to Julia Catherine (Urgola) Persik and the late Roger John Persik. In addition to her father, Debbie is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Charles Persik; her sister, Catherine Regina Kepner; and her very beloved feline companion, Mr. Kitty.
Debbie’s survivors include her mother, Julia Catherine Persik of Chestertown, MD; her two sisters: Christine “Chris” Maas Austin and her husband, Rick, of Chestertown, Sandra “Sandy” Elizabeth Golder and her husband, William, of Dover; and her three nephews: Hunter William Golder of Dover, Alexander Peet Maas of Chestertown, MD, Jesse Thomas Austin of Chestertown, MD.
Debbie enjoyed listening to music and surrounding herself with some of her favorite tracks by putting her headphones on. She loved babies and adored animals. One of her most treasured friends was her feline buddy, Mr. Kitty.
All are welcome to join Debbie’s family at her gathering of family and friends on Saturday, March 7, 2020, from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 863 Lewisberry Road, Lewisberry, PA 17339; with Pastor Andrew S. Fitch officiating. Burial will follow the service in Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Mechanicsburg. Honored to be pallbearers are William Golder, Hunter Golder, Rick Austin, Jesse Austin, and Alexander Maas.
The family sends their most heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Debbie at the Mount Holly Group Home.
