Delores Elaine (Rusnow) Swanson

Delores Elaine (Rusnow) Swanson, age 87, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Jamestown, NY, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018.  Delores was born on Monday, March 16, 1931 in Jamestown, NY to the late Thomas Rusnow and Ardelle (Anderson) Rusnow.  Delores was the widow of Lincoln Lowell Swanson, whom she married on June 9, 1951, and who died on September 4, 1992.

Delores’s survivors include her three children: Pamela “Pam” Bliss of Mechanicsburg, PA, Penny Swanson and her husband, Graham Young, of Bainbridge Island, WA, Thomas “Tom” Swanson and his wife, Robin, of Port Angeles, WA; her five grandchildren; and her two great-grandchildren.

To honor Delores’s commitment to health and education, her body has been donated to Pennsylvania Humanity Gifts Registry.
