Dennis Lee Myers, age 57, of New Kingstown , died at Harrisburg Hospital on Sunday, May 4, 2014. He was born on Saturday, October 13, 1956 in Lock Haven to Leroy Bruce Myers and Marjorie (Mayes) Myers. Dennis was the husband of Dianne L. (Ruby) Myers, whom he married on July 29, 1994.
Dennis’s survivors include his wife, Dianne, of almost 20 years; his children: Gregory Myers and his wife, Manon, of Ft. Stewart, GA, Jennifer L. Myers of Carlisle; his step-children: Michelle Weiser and her husband, Adam, of Ickesburg, Stacy Price and her husband, Eric, of Thompsontown; his grandchildren: Caleb Charney, Daniel Charney, Laila Charney, Shawna Weiser, Hayley Weiser, Katelynn Weiser, and Ryland Price; his mother, Marjorie (Mayes) Myers, of Avis; his brother, Robert Myers, of Buffalo, NY; and two nephews and a niece.
Dennis was an employee of Fry Communications Inc . in Mechanicsburg, with 15 years of service working as a fork lift mechanic. He was a member of the Enola Sportsmen’s Association, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Dennis loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs. He was a strong-willed, kind-hearted, caring, people person with a great sense of humor.
All are welcome to join Dennis’s family at his visitation on Saturday, May 10, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Celebrant Mary Medkeff-Rose officiating. Cremation will be private and at the family’s convenience.
Dennis’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Enola Sportsmen’s Association following the service.
