Diane Marie (Gall) Long

Diane Marie (Gall) Long, age 59, of Enola passed away at home on Monday, December 4, 2023 with her family by her side.  Diane was born on Sunday, March 29, 1964, in Camp Hill to the late Joseph Angelo Gall and Betty Jane (Anewalt) Gall.

Diane’s survivors include her husband of 34 years, Gregory Richard Long; her two children: Shannon Marie (Long) Connors and her husband, Peter, of Mechanicsburg, David Gregory Long and his wife, Andrea, of Camp Hill; her twin sister, Joanne Marie Gallo of Mechanicsburg; her sister, Michele Marie (Gall) Warren and her husband Bradley of Mechanicsburg; and two nephews: Adam Warren and Michael Bruetsch.

Diane enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping, decorating, and spending time with family and friends. One of her favorite activities that she looked forward to every year was visiting Ocean City, NJ. Diane was happiest after getting to spend a day in the sun with her family.

Diane devoted 40 years to Modjeski and Masters where she worked as an administrative assistant.  She spoke fondly of her coworkers that turned to friends over the years and her many American Association of Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) projects and business trips.

All are welcome to join Diane’s family at her greeting of guests on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at 2:45 after the service until 4:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral & Cremation, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  Diane’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at West Shore Elk’s Lodge #2257 immediately following the service.  Cremation was private.
