Dixie Lee (Eisenhauer) Altoff, age 61, of Lewisberry , and formerly of Mechanicsburg , died peacefully at home and surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Dixie was born on Monday, July 20, 1953 in Harrisburg to Verna Romaine (Pierce) Eisenhauer and the late John Henry Eisenhauer.
Dixie’s survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Walter “Walt” Benard Altoff; her mother, Verna Eisenhauer, and her Yorkie/Shar Pei dog, Teddy. They will always think of Dixie when they see her wood work and when they go for a motorcycle ride, both of which she loved.
All are welcome to join Dixie’s family at her gathering of family and friends on Sunday, December 7, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Celebrant George Spangler officiating. Cremation was private.
