A Big Tease -

Donald “Don” Keith Webb, age 74, of Mechanicsburg , and formerly of Camden-Wyoming, DE , died at home in the company of his loving family on Monday, July 7, 2014.  Don was born on Wednesday, September 20, 1939 in Ridgley, MD, to the late Andrew Keith Webb and Dorothy Louise (Melvin) Webb.  In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his brother, James L. Webb.

Don’s survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Paula Kay (Garrett) Webb; his five children: D. Keith Webb and his wife, Karen, of York Springs, Edward E. Webb and his wife, Stephanie, of Shippensburg, Victoria L. Smith and her husband, Robert, of Mechanicsburg, Matti A. Berkheimer of York, Ami K. Crouse and her husband, Edward, of Shermans Dale; his 22 grandchildren: Zachary, Courtney, Shanna, Justin, Jarrett, Justin, Keith, Travis, Kaitlin, Kelsey, Tyler, Sarah, Kristopher, Kassidi, Sarah, Christian, Aleyah, Jayda, Jacob, Gracie, Noah, Isaiah; his five great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Kiah, Leeland, Harley, and Bentley.

Don attended Daybreak Church in Mechanicsburg where he enjoyed fellowship and coffee in the café.  He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran.  Don worked at Kinney, AMP/Tyco, and CAI as a systems analyst and programmer in the data processing area.  A quiet man, he used few, but profound, words.  When the sparkle appeared in his eyes you knew you were being teased by one of the biggest and best teasers around.  Don enjoyed fishing and caught many fish, and possibly more sticks, over the years.  Camping, gardening, and music were among his favorite pastimes.  Don will always be remembered as a devoted father and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather.

All are welcome to join Don’s family at his viewing on Thursday, July 10, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and his funeral service at 4:15 p.m. at Daybreak Church , 321 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Pastor Ronald O’Neil officiating.  Military honors will be presented by the Cumberland County Honor Guard immediately following his funeral service.  Don’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at the church following the services.  Cremation will be private and at the family’s convenience.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice for All Seasons , 2741 Paxton Street #200, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
