Donna Louise (Kennedy) Boltash, age 87, of Camp Hill, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018.  Donna was born on Monday, March 9, 1931 in Mountainhome to the late Vernon Thomas Obert and Florence Loretta (Englert) Kennedy.  In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her adoptive father, Joseph Kennedy, her son, Robert Jones, her grandson, Duran Parson, and her brother, William Kennedy.

Donna’s survivors include her husband of 42 years, John Charles Boltash Jr.; and her great-granddaughter, Lilyanna Parson.

Donna graduated from Mountainhome High School as part of the class of 1949.  Early in her work life, she worked for Boyd E. Diller, Inc. in Enola and then for Central Penn Business School in Summerdale until her retirement.  Donna was always busy working whether at her job, on her computer or cleaning her home.  In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and playing pool.  Donna was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg.  John remembers his wife as a great cook especially her meatless lasagna which was one of his favorites.  Donna greatly enjoyed travelling with John and Duran, her grandson, and delighted in taking snapshots of their trips.  She deeply loved and always felt close to her great-granddaughter, Lilyanna, who she saw as a wonderful young woman.  Donna will be deeply missed.

All are welcome to join Donna’s family at her viewing on Thursday, May 17, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; and at her Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 410 East Simpson Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Rev. Augustine Joseph celebrating.  Her burial will immediately follow in St. John's Cemetery in Mechanicsburg.
