A Devoted Grandmother -

Donna “Memaw” Marie (Wall) Geedy, age 70, of Enola, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021.  Donna was born on Saturday, April 22, 1950, in Mifflin to the late Paul Eugene Wall and Helen Marie (Brenner) Wall. In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her brother, Paul “Skip” and her three sisters, Shirley, Patricia “Pat” and Doreen.

Donna’s survivors include her husband of nearly 55 years, James “Jim” Alton Geedy; her son James “Jim” Allen Geedy and wife, Dewi, of Dillsburg; her daughter, Tina Marie Yadsko and husband, John, of Enola; her three grandchildren: Nathan Michael Martin, Collin James Martin and Janessa Suguitan; her two great-grandchildren: Ahnalaya Marie Martin, Zoey Abigail Martin; and her beloved canine companions: Cody and Candy.

Donna retired from Select Medical in Camp Hill, after working as an Insurance Verification Representative.  She was a member of Vibrant Church in Mechanicsburg, where she had served as an usher and coordinator of the Angel Food Ministry. Donna’s love for Jesus was never hidden; she often and openly shared her testimony.  She was known for her giving personality and the best peanut butter fudge in the world. She loved to read; devotionals were a favorite.  Donna’s family will remember her laughter and the care that she showered on everyone that she met knew and loved.  She cherished the time that she spent with her grand and great-grandchildren.

Donna’s family will be remembering her life privately. Cremation was private.
