Dot was a proud member of American Legion Post 109 – Mechanicsburg, where she was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary. She relished any time spent camping at the beach, most especially at Assateague Island and along the Jersey shore. Dot loved fishing, trying her luck at Hollywood Casino, going to dirt track races, and even though it terrified her, she enjoyed riding out in the championship cars with her son and grandson. Family meant everything to Dot and spending the holidays with them was her absolute favorite. Dot will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
