Edward “Ed” Franklin Harry, 83, of Carlisle , died at Holy Spirit Hospital on January 2, 2014. He was born in Shade Gap, on Friday, May 30, 1930, son of the late Elizabeth (Varner) Blosser.
Ed’s survivors include his daughter, Beverly Wenger of Carlisle; granddaughter; Jessica Wenger of Carlisle; and Betty Harry.
Ed retired from Ships Parts Control Center in Mechanicsburg in 1986 after working as a shipment clerk. He was avid coin collector. Ed also enjoyed working in his yard and working on puzzles.
All are welcome to join Ed’s family at his viewing on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Myers–Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Services and burial in Longsdorf Cemetery in Mechanicsburg will be private and at the family’s convenience.
