Eileen A. “Buzz” (Buczynski) Robinski
Eileen A. “Buzz” (Buczynski) Robinski, 75, of Shiremanstown died Monday, January 30, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital. She was born in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, December 15, 1936 the daughter of the late Edward A. and Mary (Horzempa) Buczysnski. Eileen was the widow of Joseph Robinski who she married on June 20, 1959.
Eileen graduated from Harrisburg Catholic High School and Shippensburg Teachers College, where she was a cheerleader. She retired from West Shore School District after teaching many years as a middle school reading teacher. Eileen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg.
Eileen was an avid reader who would sit and read a novel a day. She loved watching baseball games, especially her son’s games, and movies. Eileen’s passion was her family and teaching children. She also enjoyed getting together for lunch with her teaching buddies. She was especially fond of her two beagles.
Eileen’s survivors include her loving sons: Mark E. Robinski and his fiancé Colleen Phillips of Bradenton, FL; David S. Robinski and his wife Fawn of Carlisle; Don J. Robinski of Shiremanstown; three grandchildren: Jacob, Lauren, and Casey; two brothers: Donald Buczynski and his wife Fran of Peoria, IL; Edward Buczynski and his wife Joan of Allentown and several nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to join Eileen’s family at her visitation on Thursday, February 2, 2012, from 5:00 to 7:00 at Myers–Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA, 17055, (717) 766-3421, www.Myers-Buhrig.com. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 1:00 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg with Reverend David Hereshko celebrating. Burial will immediately follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
