Aunt Ellen

Best known for her apple pie and holiday feasts, “Aunt Ellen” passed on to be with the Lord on November 10, 2011.

A patient person, she was a housewife for 50 years and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.  Her door was always open to friends, family, and neighbors.

She was a long standing member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school for several decades.

She is survived by three sons; Michael, Elias, and Frank and their wives; along with five grandchildren who she enjoyed tremendously.

All are welcome to join Ellen’s family at her viewing on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, from 1:00 until time of service at 2:30 at Myers–Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA, 17055, (717) 766-3421, www.Myers-Buhrig.com with Pastor Anne-Rose Reeves officiating.

Burial will immediately follow in the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
