Esther (Sisti) Tozzini

Esther (Sisti) Tozzini, age 97, of Carlisle, and formerly of Colver, died on Monday, May 21, 2018.  Esther was born on Sunday, March 20, 1921 in Colver to the late Pete Sisti and Mary (Ripani) Sisti.  Esther was the widow of Charlie Tozzini, whom she was married to for 72 years until his death on December 29, 2011.  In addition to her parents and husband, Esther is preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Belgin.

Esther’s survivors include her son, Dennis Tozzini and his wife, Elizabeth, of Carlisle; her 3 granddaughters: Jane Adams and her husband, Cory, Gina Christensen and her husband, Arin, and Christina Craft and her husband, Thomas; her four great-grandchildren, Charlie Adams, Tristan Christensen,  Isabella Kemp and Cody Craft; her brother, Lido Sisti and his wife, Margaret; her sister, Rena DeBastiani and her husband, LeRoy; and several nieces and nephews.

Esther graduated from Ebensburg Cambria High School as part of the class of 1938 and was a lifelong member of Holy Family Church in Colver.  She was a homemaker, excellent cook and seamstress, and enjoyed walking with her friends.  Esther was a very lovely person who was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

At Esther’s request, there will be no public viewing or visitation.  Cremation and interment will be private.
