Faye Louise (Scheffer) Williams

Faye Louise (Scheffer) Williams, age 88, of Duncannon, and formerly of Perry County, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 while being comforted by family.  Faye was born on Saturday, October 21, 1933, in Harrisburg to the late William Scheffer and Lucy J. (Brinkley) Scheffer.  Faye was the widow of John “Jack” Evans Williams, whom she married on May 7, 1973, and who died on August 1, 2000.

Faye’s survivors include her three children: Lisa Lincourt of Duncannon, Gary McCoy of Florida, and Doreen McCoy-Bechtel of Hershey; her three grandchildren; her two siblings: William “Bill” Scheffer of Mechanicsburg and Cindy Scheffer-Cain of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Faye’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville will be at the family’s convenience.  Cremation was private.
