Floyd “Pete” Lee Fry

Floyd “Pete” Lee Fry, age 71, of Camp Hill passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. Pete was born on Sunday, April 9, 1950, in Harrisburg to the late Earnest M. Fry and Dora E. (Hartman) Daly. In addition to his parents, Pete is preceded in death by his two brothers: Lindsey Fry and Charlie Fry; and his sister, Arlene Fry.

Pete’s survivors include his wife of 30 years, Patsy Lee (Spahr) Fry; his daughter, Billie Jo Isbell and her husband, Ben, of Logan Station; his son, Jason E. Goodling of Camp Hill; his three grandchildren: Brady Goodling, Stefaney Goodling and Brandi Isbell; his brothers: Jack Fry, Harold Fry, John Fry and Earl Fry; and his sister, Peggy Marks.

Pete was a proud employee of Smith Transport where he was recently presented the “Golden Million Mile” award for driving a million miles without any accidents. He enjoyed working on vehicles; his blue hot rod pickup truck was his favorite. Above all else, Pete cherished his family. He loved his wife, Patsy, very much. He never thought of her children as “step”; they were his children.

All are welcome to join Pete’s family at his visitation on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a service beginning at 10:30 a.m. all at Christian Life Assembly, 2645 Lisburn Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Cremation was private.
