Frances “Fran” Louise DeSilva

Had a Big Heart -

Frances “Fran” Louise DeSliva, age 84, of Dillsburg, died at Carolyn's House in Harrisburg on Thursday, December 27, 2018.  Fran was born on Sunday, November 11, 1934 in Mechanicsburg to the late James Milton DiSilva and Mary Elizabeth (Evinger) DeSilva.  In addition to her parents, Fran is preceded in death by her two brothers, Robert DeSilva and Lawrence DeSilva.

Surviving Fran is her companion, Lloyd Charles Kibe, Sr., who remembers Fran as a “wonderful lady” who he loved very much and will miss deeply.  Lloyd and Fran were companions for more than 25 years.  Fran had a big heart and she loved to help people.  She made the world a better and happier place for all who were lucky enough to have known her.

All are welcome to join Fran’s family at her viewing, on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Celebrant Patti Vogl officiating.  Burial will immediately follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisburg.
