Wholehearted Family Man –

Frank Angelo DeNofa, Sr., age 56, of Carlisle , died at Holy Spirit Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, April 15, 2015.  Frank was born on Monday, February 9, 1959 in Philadelphia to Anne Ruth (Kroupa) DeNofa and the late Carmen Frank DeNofa.  In addition to his father, Frank is preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas and Joseph.

Frank’s survivors include his loving wife of over 31 years, Michele (Devine) DeNofa; his children: Frank A. DeNofa, Jr., Alyssa DeNofa; his sister, Angela “Angie” Newcomb of Philadelphia; his sister-in-law, Janice DeNofa of New Jersey; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend and loving dog, Conan.

Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve .  He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  He appreciated delicious, homemade food; and he was a good cook. Above all, Frank was wholeheartedly a family man who loved his children dearly.

All are welcome to join Frank’s family at his gathering of family and friends on Saturday, April 18, 2015, from 12:30 p.m. until time of remembrance at 1:00 p.m. at the State Game Lands 230 , Carlisle, PA 17013 .  The family reminds everyone that there are no restroom facilities at the State Game Lands, that parking is available at the rifle range, and they recommend casual dress.

Frank’s family strongly encourages everyone to join them for a time of food and celebration of life at the M iddlesex Township Park , 50 Beagle Club Road, Carlisle, PA 17013, immediately following the time of remembrance.  Cremation was private.
