George graduated from Central Dauphin High School as part of the class of 1978, where he attended Dauphin County Technical School and completed the automotive technology program. He then earned an associate’s degree in car mechanics followed by his CDL. George began his career at H.B. Reese Candy Company in Hershey followed by driving truck cross country for Kinard Trucking, Inc. out of York. After traveling all over many states, he decided it was time to stay closer to home. George was always very proud of his daughters and treasured his grandchildren. As his children grew up, they all enjoyed getting together for family game nights. The girls will remember those times and how much of a jokester he was, including the endless supply of dad jokes. Everyone who knew George will never forget how much of a hard worker he was and the big heart he shared.
