Glenda “Susie” Mary (Zeigler) Gephart

Family was Her Greatest Treasure -

Glenda “Susie” Mary (Zeigler) Gephart, age 64, of Mechanicsburg, passed away with her loving family by her side on Thursday, October 10, 2019.  Glenda was born on Saturday, November 13, 1954 in Mechanicsburg to the late Glenn Zeigler and Mary Frances (Meredith) Zeigler.  In addition to her parents, Glenda is preceded in death by her three brothers: Donald Zeigler, Dave Zeigler, Marlin Zeigler; and her sister, Kathy Shellenberger.

Glenda’s survivors include her husband of 46 years, James “Jim” Robert Gephart, Sr.; her five children: Patty Rodriguez and her husband, Tony, of Mechanicsburg, Kelly Gephart and her significant other, Ron Kiner, of Carlisle, SueAnn Gephart of Mechanicsburg, James Gephart, Jr. and his wife, Amy, of Mechanicsburg, Cristy Gephart of Mechanicsburg; her 14 grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren; her three siblings: John Zeigler of Carlisle, Eric Ziegler and his wife, Michelle, of Mechanicsburg, MaryAnn Paluscio and her husband, Tony, of Dillsburg; several nieces and nephews; and her four beloved canine companions: Roxy, Daisy, Molly, Sheba.

Glenda enjoyed roller skating, bowling, going to craft shows, and scrolling on her phone.  She also loved animals, going shopping, and browsing yard sales and flea markets.  Glenda looked forward to the holidays each year and the opportunity to have dinners with her family.  She really loved spending time with her family at get togethers and watching her grandchildren grow up.  Family was the important aspect of her life; Glenda loved her husband and family dearly.

All are welcome to join Glenda’s family at her gathering of family and friends on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:30 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Celebrant George A. Spangler officiating.  Cremation was private.
