Fought and Sarah E. (Fisher) Fought.  Grace was the widow of Glenn H. Failor, whom she married on April 4, 1942 and who died on June 18, 1977.  In addition to her parents and husband, Grace is preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Slagle; her six brothers; and her sister.

Grace was a lifelong member of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, where she volunteered with various church activities over the years. Deeply devoted to her church, she could only be described as “a good and faithful servant.” Grace enjoyed helping others, also volunteering with Meals on Wheels for many years. A social woman who embraced the company of friends, she bowled on a league at Trindle Bowl in Mechanicsburg and always looked forward to playing cards with her friends. Grace had a wonderful sense of humor, making people laugh with her funny observations and willingness to poke fun at herself.  Above all else, Grace cherished her family. She never missed an opportunity to express how proud she was of them—and how much she loved them.

All are welcome to join Grace’s family at her viewing on Thursday, October 19, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Trindle Spring Lutheran Church, 14 State Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 ; with Pastor Aaron M.
