Greg “GA” Allen Wagner, age 67, of Enola, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 13, 2024. Born on Monday, August 5, 1957, in Mechanicsburg, he was the son of the late Paul Leroy Wagner and Carmen (Nowell) Wagner. Greg was reunited in eternal peace with his late wife, Rosemary Ann (Conese) Wagner. The pair were Married on October 24, 1987 and shared 26 beautiful years together until her passing on June 30, 2014.
Greg is survived by his daughter, Marissa Wagner of Mechanicsburg; his two siblings, Gary Wagner and wife, Nancy of Brick, NJ; Barbara Kohler and husband, Bill of Mechanicsburg; numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family that loved him dearly.
A graduate of the Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School Class of 1975, Greg was a standout three-sport athlete, earning varsity letters all four years in football, wrestling, and baseball. He continued his education at East Stroudsburg University, where he graduated with the Class of 1979 and formed lifelong bonds as a brother of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity (TKE).
Greg’s love for sports extended well beyond his high school and college years, often trying to keep up with his nieces and nephews, creating unforgettable memories and uncontrolled laughter. A true fan, Greg maintained a steadfast allegiance to the New York Jets, famously teaching their Sheltie the Jets chant.
Greg retired from Coca-Cola Company in 2020, after many years of service. His life was a celebration of love, family, and resilience. While he will be deeply missed, his memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, and solace is found in knowing he is at peace alongside his wife, Rosemary.
