Gregory “Greg” Scott Knisley
A Simple Man -
Gregory “Greg” Scott Knisley, age 54, of York Springs, passed away at home on Saturday, January 18, 2020. Greg was born on Saturday, October 2, 1965 in Harrisburg to Mary Lou (Swartley) Keefer and the late Paul L. Knisley.
Greg’s survivors include his wife of 36 years, Denise M. (Miller) Knisley; his two daughters: Ashley Harder and her husband, Jason, of Gardners, Brittany Hansen and her husband, Shannon, of Dillsburg; his three grandchildren: Trenton Harder, Brady Harder, Piper Hansen; his mother, Mary Lou Keefer; and his brother, Brian Knisley and his wife, Dianna, of Mechanicsburg.
Greg graduated from Bermudian Springs High School and was a coater specialist for Vitro Architectural Glass. Greg liked to hunt and fish, enjoyed going to his grandkids sporting events, but most of all, he was a simple man who really enjoyed getting together with family for cookouts.
Friends and family are invited for an open house time of gathering at Buhrig’s Gathering Place, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, (717) 766-3421 (next to Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory), on Sunday, February 2, 2020, from 2:00 pm. to 4:00 p.m. Over 100 parking spaces are available; just look for the “Buhrig” parking signs in all of our parking lots.
