Gwendolyn “Gwen” Jane (Rondish) MacLuskie, age 82, of Camp Hill, and formerly of Reading, died at ManorCare Health Services - Camp Hill, on Thursday, December 24, 2015. Gwen was born on Thursday, May 25, 1933, in Scranton, PA daughter of the late George Rondish and Jane Rondish.
Gwen’s survivors include her three children: Michael MacLuskie and his wife, Frances, of Mechanicsburg, Jane Blanchard and her husband, Robert, of Shillington, PA, Ann Haluska and her husband, Tedd, of Centre Hall, PA; her nine grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren.
Gwen graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1953 as a Registered Nurse. She retired from Community General Hospital in Reading in 1970, and served as a private nurse for a number of years afterwards. Gwen lived a long, full life, and she will be missed by her children and grandchildren.
Gwen’s family will be remembering her life privately. Interment in Gethsemane Cemetery in Reading will be at the family’s convenience. Cremation was private.
