Harolyn Sue (Young) Williams

November 1, 1951 — March 29, 2025

Mechanicsburg

Harolyn Sue (Young) Williams, age 73, of Mechanicsburg, PA, died on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Harolyn was born on Thursday, November 1, 1951, in Easton, PA to the late Harold and Helen Young. Harolyn was the widow of Stephen “Steve” Williams, whom she married on July 17, 1971, and who died on March 17, 2025.

Harolyn’s survivors include her son: Stephen Williams and his wife Amy of Mechanicsburg, PA; and her grandson: Tyler Williams of Mechanicsburg, PA.

Harolyn graduated from Easton High School as part of the class of 1970 and attended Northampton Area Community College. She retired after many years of service working as an accountant in the medical field. Harolyn was a quiet and unassuming woman who liked to work behind the scenes. Her efforts had a major impact for Boy Scout Troop #31, with whom she was involved for many years. Family was very important to Harolyn, so in addition to helping with her son’s boy scouting, she and her husband would spend quality time together vacationing at Myrtle Beach and Cape May. Harolyn loved taking day trips to visit small ice cream shops when they were adventuring together. She will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Harolyn's service information will be announced when finalized.
