Harry “Don” Donald Myers, age 82, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Selinsgrove, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 11, 2020.  Don was born on Monday, February 21, 1938 in Mechanicsburg to the late Harry Peter Myers and Nora Susan (Myers) Myers.  In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his brother, George Eugene Myers.

Don’s survivors include his brother: Paul Herman Myers and his wife, Priscilla, of Eagleville; and his two nieces and two nephews.

Don attended the Trindle Spring Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg along with his grandparents and parents.  As a young boy, he loved to play football in the backyard with his brothers and friends.  Don enjoyed spending the day riding rides and watching the people at Knoebels Amusement Resort and loved eating a good meal.

Don’s family will be celebrating his life privately.  Interment in Trindle Spring Cemetery in Mechanicsburg will be at the family’s convenience.  Cremation was private.

The family sends their most heartfelt thanks to everyone at the Selinsgrove Center who so lovingly cared for Don during the time that he spent there.
