A Hardworking Man –

Harvey “Bud” Andrew Pearl, age 81, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018.  Bud was born on Friday, December 25, 1936 in Harrisburg to the late Harvey Francis Pearl and Dorothy Mae (Stambaugh) Pearl.  Bud was the widower of Bonnie Kay (Long) Pearl, whom he married on September 27, 1958, and who died on March 27, 2018.  In addition to his parents and wife, Bud is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Mae Jones.

Bud’s survivors include his three children: Kimberly Ann Pearl of Charlotte, NC, Todd Andrew Pearl of Mechanicsburg, Kenneth S. Pearl and his wife, Mitzy, of Mechanicsburg; his seven grandchildren; his ten great-grandchildren; and his one nephew, Larry Jones and his wife, Eelbeltiga, of Mechanicsburg.

Bud graduated from Harrisburg High School and served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves.  He was a hardworking man who was an excellent provider for his family.  Bud always made himself available for others especially when the chips were down.

All are welcome to join Bud’s family at his viewing on Friday, June 8, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until a time of closing at 8:00 p.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
