Helen Theresa (Brezinski) Romanauskas

Helen Theresa (Brezinski) Romanauskas, 95, of Mechanicsburg , and formerly of Scranton , died at home and surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 2, 2012.  She was born in Scranton, on Friday, March 23, 1917, daughter of the late Stanley Brezinski and Marcella Brezinski.  Helen was the widow of Vincent Romanauskas who died in August of 1971.

Helen was a loving woman who focused on caring for her family.  During tough times, she always ensured that her family, and especially her children, were well fed.  Her selflessness and caring will always be remembered and she will be loved and cherished forever.

Helen’s survivors include her loving daughter, Carolyn Ann (Romanauskas) Geyer of Mechanicsburg; her three grandsons; one granddaughter; and three great grandchildren.  Among those preceding Helen in death are her son, Vincent Romanauskas.

Cremation and services will be private and at the family’s convenience.
