Helen loved going to the beach, primarily the Outer Banks. She also enjoyed golfing almost daily, and preferred to walk instead of riding in a golf cart. She liked to play bingo at the VFW in Harrisburg. Helen delighted in ballroom dancing with her husband, especially the polka and jitterbug. Some of Helen’s favorite foods included both fried and peel & eat shrimp with a spicy cocktail sauce, as well as hot, hot wings with a nice cold beer.
