Jack “Rusty” Russell Knipe, III
A Free Spirit –
Jack “Rusty” Russell Knipe, III, age 45, of Red Lion, and formerly of Mechanicsburg and Boiling Springs, was lovingly embraced by his father on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Rusty was born on Friday, May 14, 1976, in Harrisburg to Patricia “Patty” Lee (Myers) Knipe and the late Jack Russell Knipe, Jr.
Rusty is survived by his mother, Patty, and Alyssa, and Kevin, and his sister, Kyra Peoples. He loved and thought of his children often.
As a young man, Rusty loved hunting, fishing, and being in the mountains. He enjoyed spending time with family. This often included family holidays and watching movies with his dad. Rusty was a skilled carpenter and an old car buff. Everyone who knew Rusty, quickly learned how much of a jokester he was. He was also described as “a real ham” and a free spirit.
Rusty’s family will be remembering his life privately. Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Churchtown in Boiling Springs will be at the family’s convenience. Cremation was private.
Rusty’s family has entrusted his care to Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory in Mechanicsburg, (717) 766-3421. Read Rusty’s full obituary, offer condolences and sympathy, share stories and memories, upload photographs and videos, light a candle and sign his official guest book by visiting Buhrig.com.
