In the Arms of His Beloved Mother -
Jacob Ralph Robinson, age 25, of Mechanicsburg , and formerly of Duncannon , died at home on Friday, April 3, 2015. Jacob was born on Tuesday, April 4, 1989 in Fort Stewart, Georgia, to Joseph “Joe” Robert Robinson, Jr. and Melissa Marie (Wagner) Robinson. Jacob is preceded in death by his mother.
Jacob’s survivors include his father, Joseph “Joe” Robert Robinson, Jr. and his wife, Corinne, of Duncannon; his sister, Betthany Malaney and her husband, Nick, and their son, Noah; his grandparents: Arlington and Bonnie Wagner of Lock Haven, Alan and Brenda Shultz of Camp Hill; his great-grandmother, Audrey Patterson of McEllhattan; his girlfriend, Jane Sock of Mechanicsburg; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jacob graduated as part of the class of 2007 from Central Mountain High School , where he played on the soccer team. He spent many years working as a cook at Wendy’s and as a line picker at Fisher Auto Parts . Jacob loved playing paintball, airsoft, and video games. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, and participating in Civil War re-enactments. Jacob was a big fan of the Phillies, Eagles, and Senators. He will be remembered by his smile, kindness, and good sense of humor. Jacob was loved by many and was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. He loved his nephew, Noah, and would spend as much time as he could with him. Jacob will be missed dearly by all who had the chance to know him.
Jacob’s family will be remembering his life privately. Cremation was private.
