Jacqueline “Jackie” Rae (Stambaugh) Beers

Jacqueline “Jackie” Rae (Stambaugh) Beers, age 79, of The Gardens at Camp Hill, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the home.  Jackie was born on Saturday, May 2, 1942, in York to the late Samuel Raymond Stambaugh and Mildred Minnie (Baker) Stambaugh.  In addition to her parents, Jackie is preceded in death by her first husband, John T. Shoop, Sr. of Mechanicsburg; and her second husband, William Beers, Sr. of Mechanicsburg.

Jackie’s survivors include her sister, Darlene M. Stambaugh of Camp Hill, PA; her four children: Theresa L. Jones and husband, D. Scott Jones, of Stuarts Draft, VA, John T. Shoop, Jr. and wife, Laura L. Murray Shoop, of Mechanicsburg, PA, Raymond D. Shoop and wife, Donna K. Richardson Shoop, of Lacey, WA, and Daniel L. Shoop of Fresno, CA; her ten grandchildren: Jesse, Colin, Melissa, Austin, Mackenzie, Keagan, Shannon, Samuel, Aria, and Cora; and her one great-granddaughter, Hazel.

Jackie enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening.  She also liked having coffee and conversation with her friends and family.  Jackie was a cat lover and never stopped meeting new friends.  She was always ready with a smile, an offer of assistance, and comfort to anyone in need.  Jackie loved her family and will be missed by them all.

Jackie’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Cremation was private.
